Color the Bern!

Artist Kii Arens recently released this sweet black light poster with our friends over at 1xRun! The print, in an edition of 200 copies, sold out pretty quickly, but stay tuned to what 1xRun’s got going as they have some pretty cool politically charged art!

’60s poster by Juan Spearman

Artist Juan Spearman sent in this great poster idea, here’s what he had to say about it:

“I decided to go with a youthful image of Bernie for reference. In the original photo, which was probably from the late 60s or early 70s, it really made me wonder about Bernie Sanders the individual, the person that’s been holding on to their progressive beliefs for so long, beliefs that are more than ready now, but when he was younger, were still so far from catching on here in America.”

They Live!

Artist Hal Hefner submitted this fun digital illustration recently, mashing up Bernie Sanders and the classic cult film, “They Live.”

Here’s what Hal had to say about this piece: “This piece of digital art depicts Bernie Sanders and Killer Mike as the lead characters played by Roddy Piper and Keith David in the 1988, cult classic film, They Live by John Carpenter. They are surrounded by the evil, alien overlords from the film disguised as Ted Cruz, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. In this iconic pose form the famous street fight in They Live, Bernie Sanders is giving Killer Mike the glasses in which he can finally see the aliens as their true selves.”
