Spotted in Philadelphia

Artists Old Broads and Disto recently completed a large scale Bernie mural in Philadelphia. The painting also includes a chalkboard aspect, allowing members of the community to contribute their voices and the opportunity to discuss the issues that matter most. 

Yarnbombing with Ishknits

Street artist and knitter, Ishknits, put up this yardbomb in Philadelphia recently! If you haven’t had a chance to check out her work, she does some great public interventions around the country, learn more about this particular one on Streets Dept.

Bernie mural in Silverlake, Los Angeles

Artist and muralist Lydia Emily recently finished this mural in Los Angeles’ Silverlake neighborhood, here’s what she had to say about it on her Facebook page:

“People ask me why I paint for Bernie, there are so many answers but the one that keeps me painting when I am feeling weak is if red takes over our government again and we lose our healthcare people like me will die.”

Lydia was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2012, you can learn more about her and her art on her website.

The Bernie Barn in Vermont

Vermonters David Tanych and Meryl Lebowitz recently enlisted the help of California based muralist Jules Muck to create this massive portrait of Bernie on their barn. Loving the grassroots rustic lifestyle meets California spray paint mural vibe going on here!
